This was our first stay at the Emerson Inn and it won’t be our last. The seaside setting is magnificent and the old inn takes you back to a bygone era. There is a sense of peace and calm that pervades the entire property inside and out. The amenities throughout make this a place where you can do it all without leaving the property. Was particularly impressed with exceptional cleanliness of the rooms and the staff in general.
A slice of heaven
We happened upon this slice of Heaven quite unexpectedly and delightfully! The setting is breathtaking - the grounds extending to the Atlantic! The rooms were small, but honestly, we spent most time outside - in and by the pool, and sitting in most comfortable rocking chairs on the porch looking out to the ocean. The hotel is exceptionally clean and very charming - decorated perfectly in period. I feel as though we really lucked out finding this gem.

Very quaint and intimate
Recently attended a wedding at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very quaint and intimate. Food was top notch at the wedding. The included breakfast buffet was excellent. Would love to return for a longer stay. Many nooks and crannies to explore. The ocean view from the back porch is breathtaking.

The staff went above and beyond to make things come together beautifully
We had our daughter's Wedding at the Inn on September 12, 2015. The Inn is in a beautiful setting on the Atlantic Ocean. It is very warm and charming and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Most important for us was the staff. They were extremely helpful and polite, very pleasant and really went above and beyond to make things come together beautifully. We would also like to mention the event planner we worked with at the Emerson. Melissa Hobbs is an incredibly kind, pleasant, knowledgeable and professional event coordinator. She guided us easily through our event and made what could have been a stressful couple of days a very memorable event. Our 125 guests are still raving about our daughter's wedding and we attribute much of that success to Melissa!
